The Beaches are Being Put Back

Two weeks ago in Playacar we stayed at the exceptional Royal Hideaway Resort.

It was a great stay and I enjoyed the beach, even though it was quite small.

What I did not realize was that the beach we were on was a fraction of what it was before the last hurricane.

While we were there they were reclaiming beaches in front of a few properties.

After I returned I got an email that I couldn't believe. The pictures showed the beach reclaimed at about 5 times the size it was when we were there.
